[edit] Starbase History
Starbase 418 is a recently built Ournal class starbase, serving in a remote part of space. Mostly charted by probes, this is one of the first ventures into the area since the arrival of the USS Enterprise-D in 2364. Because of this, the area is not a contested region of space, though most recently it has been the site of negotiations for technology use.

[edit] Mission Activity
With Starbase 418 and the Delphi Adru System being along a major trade route, the station has become a massive stoppage point for both civilian and Starfleet vessels. This has produced a massive workload for the engineers and fighting has broken out between ship (civilian) captains. And with the central location to numerous planets, Starbase 418 has also become a major distribution point for many companies and space is running low. As such, Captain Serege has summoned his staff to find a better way to handle the massive influx of civilian personnel, cargo, and their ships. And now the Romulans are here to get in on the action. Will he succeed, or will the station turn into a massive riot? And will the Klingons stand idly by as the Romulans set up a base of operations at their doorstep? Only time will tell.
