Jessica Adams, hails from one of the most respected and well known military families in the fleet. She has blazed a trail for herself despite her young age.

[edit] BACKGROUND

Her life before the academy was that of a typical child of high ranking officers, from one base to the next. She learned at an early age how to hold her own and most of the Marines her father trained would train her when he wasn't around. It helped her focus and not feel so alone when she was away from earth. When she was home she would often go hunting with her grandfather who taught her the proper way to be a sniper, and a Marine.

Upon entering the academy Jessica had already begun to make a name for herself. But due to her brother being a genius and passing through the academy at an alarming rate, she knew she had to establish herself and get others to respect her because of who she is and not who she was related to. It was this very drive that caused her to develop her own rifles based off the T-116 models and an ancient earth sniper rifle the M-40 also called a 'KATE'. In just her second year she surpassed every markmenship record set before her time, she grabbed the attention of all her teachers from that point forward and was no longer know as 'Calvin's sister' or 'that Adams kid'.

As she progressed through the academy she made friends with three other snipers. It was there that she earned the nickname 'Diamond' stunning, but impossible to break. In her third year her abilities landed her on a mission with the senior class, it was her door into Special Forces and she now had lived up to both the men in her family as well as the women. When she returned her mother introduced her to a group of women that had formed a clique. They were the few women to join Special Forces. It was also during this time that she met her best friend Marci Bookman a demolitions expert.

Before she graduated she had already known what her next assignment was, the CO of the USS Kennedy a carrier class vessel requested her to lead his special ops team. She immediately demanded for Marci Bookman to join the team if she was going to lead. Six missions after graduation during a sneak and peek mission in Romulan space, Marci was killed. Jessica has never forgiven herself even after avenging her death. She wears her tags with her always and is the reason for Jessica's code that she teaches to all new snipers she trains.

After her death Jessica felt as though that maybe she should go back home for a little while, but the request was denied and she was sent back out into the field bouncing from one classified mission to the next.

A few years later she found herself serving on the USS Arc Angel. That commission later became the entity known as SWORD VII a Special Forces Unit.

Jessica is only the sixth woman in her family to make a successful career out of being a Marine. The others being her grandmother, two aunts, her mother and her sister Sarah whom she admired greatly. She is also only the third woman to join the Spec Ops division in her family. It is a proud honor she carries with her both mentally and physically as her third tattoo located on her chest right above her heart illustrates.

PERSONALITY TRAITS

ATTITUDE: Off duty Jessica is very sweet, and easy to get a long with most of the time. On duty Jessica has been described by some as a slave driver. One thing for sure she is the most loyal person you can have to watch your back. She carries with her always what it truly means to be a Marine.

PERSONALITY: Jessica is an engima to some who get the chance to see her both in uniform and out. But her attitude is always the same and usually isn't someone you want to get on the wrong side of. Because of her naturally being a sniper she has a lot of patiences, but most know not to try her. Her philosophy is that the sniper makes the mission succeed because we are the ones to watch everyone's back. This is what fuels her loyalty and makes up the core of who she is.

When she isn't taking head shots of enemies, Jessica enjoys spending her time swimming or reading a good book. She's quite good with children as well a side of her most people don't get to see often.

She has been known to get a little crazy at times, and loves to use her good lucks to play tricks on some of the navy boys who look like their fresh out of the academy. It has only gotten her in trouble a couple times with some of the more high ranking officers she's encountered but it's nothing she can't handle.

TALENTS: Singing, Dancing, and quite a skilled CQC (Close Quarter Combat) fighter.
LIMITATIONS: Taking on too much and never slowing down sometimes causes her to spread herself too thin.

AMBITIONS: To be the best sniper in fleet history, and to know at the end of her career when she hangs it all up no one else will have died with her watching their back.
